Welcome to this week’s pick-a-card tarot forecast! Read on to discover the message associated with the card you’ve selected.

The Lovers

Right now, there might be a focus on the relationships in your life. You are being asked to take a look at how you relate to others, as well as how you relate to yourself. The universe is asking you to try and find the balance between these two energies, and is reminding you of how important it is to have a solid foundation with yourself first. If we do not fill up our own cup before giving to others, it can easily leave us feeling empty and drained.

How have you been showing up in your relationships lately? Do you feel like you are coming together in a space that is unified, or are your crossing your personal boundaries and your own set of values for others? This card encourages you to look at your relationship dynamics this week and to ask yourself: Do I need to give more of myself or less? How much of my energy am I giving to myself versus others? The lovers encourages to reflect on this, so that you can find flow and more harmony with your relationships.

Two Of Swords

The Two of Swords indicates that you might be finding yourself stuck in a place of confusion and indecision. Decisions need to be made, but you are finding it hard to make them. You may find yourself over-thinking and trying to work out every possible outcome before you make a choice, which is leaving you feeling, stuck, stressed and burnt out. The call from the Two of Swords is to look inwards, press pause on your mind and rational thinking, and tap into your gut and your intuition. The decisions you are trying to make right now cannot be made from intellect alone - in fact, your ability to hold so many perspectives and possibilities may be furthering your stagnation and indecision.

This week, try to find some stillness so that you can bring your heart and mind together and make distinctive choices. If you keep trying to analyse your way out of this situation, you may continue to find yourself stuck in the “I don’t know” of it all. Challenge yourself to make bold decisions and trust that the universe is guiding you in the right direction for your higher self. It will serve you well.

The Emperor

Have you recently found yourself feeling out of control, trying to manage everything and feeling disempowered in the process? This is where we call on the energy of The Emperor! This card speaks to our logical and rational mind and the power we wield when we activate it. The Emperor asks us to take charge and to face things head on. This card comes with accountability, and he asks us to show up even when we don’t want to. He looks boldly forward and asks you to do the same; to look at where you are going beyond where you currently are.

He asks you to be firm and resolute in what you say yes to - and also what you say no to - highlighting the need to prioritise what you value most. He calls for us to be commanding with our thoughts and actions with respect to ourselves and others. Strength is required now to command what it is that your want. You are being asked to sit on your own throne and be unapologetic about the choices you are making or have made. Use your rational and logical mind to commit to your choices and do not waver if someone attempts to challenge them. You are being reminded of your personal power, and are encouraged to use it. It is time to focus on your personal choices and not succumb to outside influences.
